The Guam-U.S.-Asia Security Alliance (GUASA) hosted a two-day roundtable in Guam on 5 and 6 September 2013, entitled, “U.S. Forward Deployed Forces and Asian Security: A Strategic View.”

Project 2049 President and CEO Randall G. Schriver participated in this roundtable as an expert participant, among twelve distinguished Asia-Pacific security specialists from mainland U.S. The roundtable discussions were focused on the “rebalance to Asia” and its implications for Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, and greater Micronesia.
